At Silver Limes, transparency is our number one concern. That’s why we strive to be as open as possible about our approach before your project has commenced.
For each of our projects, we employ 8 key approaches. And, to make sure you know everything you need to know about our business, we thought we would share some information about each of them.
The first step in any project is to design a brief of all the end products that should encompass. The best way of doing this, we find, is to offer a high-level design document covering everything from the architecture of the system we plan to produce to the data flow we plan to create.
This document offers the unique opportunity to understand all aspects of your project before any work is embarked upon. Our team will be able to identify any challenges we expect to come across, as well as offer a much-needed timeline of the project.
Next up, we understand how important it is for you to keep up to date with your project. That’s why, no matter the project we are undertaking, we offer regular project milestones. This process means our team is never inaccessible when it comes to discussions on the progress of your project, and any new ideas you might have.
Testing The Product
Once we have outlined a new project or solution, and the development work is well underway, we make sure testing our product is always next on the agenda.
It is part of our ethos to ensure that this testing is comprehensive. So, we make sure to test the solution we produce for bugs and for use by your users. This process is called User Acceptance Testing, and it helps us to make sure that our solutions work for you as a business and the all-important users at the end of the line.
Ever wondered how you know what’s what at the end of your design process? That is where our low-level design documents come in handy. Going even further than our high-level design document, these documents work to explain the choices we have made throughout your project in a concise, understandable way.
Hand Over Document
Ever wondered how you are able to understand a project when it is complete? Well, that’s exactly the question we look to answer with our handover documents.
These documents have been designed to offer an update on all of the requirements we first discussed in the original MoSCow document, and answer any questions you might have. This way, you’ll be able to fully understand your finished project before it is handed over completely.
We believe that ongoing support is the best way of making sure our projects always work as best they can. That’s why we offer support services whenever and wherever you might need them. So, no matter how long it has been since your project has finished, feel free to give us a call or send us an email.
